    Online public debate on 5G Draft Law to take place on August 24

    The Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Communications has launched a public consultation on the draft law on the adoption of measures on information and communication infrastructures of national interest and the conditions for the implementation of 5G networks. An online public debate will take place on August 24, starting at 10 am. Registrations can be made here.

    The draft normative act aims to establish a mechanism for prior authorization of producers of technologies, equipment and software used in information and communication infrastructures of national interest, as well as in electronic communications networks through which electronic communications services are provided. 5G, pursuing considerations related to the elimination of any risks to national security and national defense.
