DRUID, a company specializing in the development of smart virtual assistants (chatbots) for Enterprise-type organizations, announces the closure of the first half of 2020 with a 349% increase in turnover, more than 4 times higher than the same period last year. Attracting new clients to the portfolio, as well as launching new virtual assistants among existing clients, led to a 304% increase in monthly recurring license revenue compared to recurring revenue in the same period in 2019. Following the high demand for virtual assistants generated by the COVID-19 crisis, the company has positively revised its increase in recurrent licensing revenues, estimating by the end of 2020 an increase of 560%. Implementation services generate five times more value for the network of implementation partners.

In the structure of turnover, the largest contribution was made by the financial services sector (banks, insurers, financial and operational leasing), which generated 49% of turnover, while health services contributed 25%, retail by 15%, the remaining 11% going to other sectors, mainly services and utilities.

DRUID aims to become a leader in the next 5 years in the global market of conversational solutions based on artificial intelligence. This market is estimated to grow from $ 4.2 billion in 2019 to $ 15.7 billion by 2024, with an average annual growth rate of 30.2%. Conversational AI solutions are based on technologies that facilitate the interaction between humans and computer systems.
