It is very important for Romania to monetize the Green Deal concept, according to Corina Popescu, CEO Electrica.

“In my opinion, Just Transition Fund offers many opportunities for Romania. Sustainability means green, digitization and sustainable business development,” she said during the online conference SUSTAINABILITY IN BUSINESS – Practice what you Preach.

“These three pillars must be monetized as well as possible by Romania. We must have coherent policies, clear principles for the economic environment to acquire European funds. Romania has made major mistakes in the field of renewable energy, major mistakes on energy efficiency. From my perspective, Romania failed to capitalize on the advantages it had”.
