    Liviu Rogojinaru, Secretary of State: Start-Up Nation 2020 could start in October

    Over 4,000 companies have received funds so far through the IMM Invest program, according to Liviu Rogojinaru, State Secretary, Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment.

    “We have several projects in progress. We want to create an investment fund that supports several areas, on the Polish model. The Start-up Nation program could begin in October,” he said during the online conference SUSTAINABILITY IN BUSINESS – Practice what you Preach.

    “We are in discussions with the Ministry of European Funds and the European Commission to draw up guidelines for multiple programs. We also want a program of 100 million Euro to be operational between July 20-23, through which to offer vouchers of 2,000 Euro for a number of 50,000 SMEs. At the same time, we want to allocate funds for Romanian companies to become digital, we try to create packages that we can make available to them.”
