Romania must focus on the sustainable use of resources, Secretary of State says

    Published on

Romania must focus on the sustainable use of resources and it needs to stop putting pressure on non-renewable resources for development, Iulian Stana, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Environment, said at Energy Online Forum organized today by Financial Intelligence.

“It will be difficult for Romania to succeed in meeting the EU’s environmental recovery challenges. We still use coal for energy production and we see very high traffic in Bucharest, with high emissions.

With the rethinking of development strategies in the energy field, Romania risks losing many jobs and we must pay attention to this aspect,” he explained.
