E-Distributie Banat, the electricity distribution operator part of the Enel Group, will perform the works of connection to the electricity grid of the military field hospital in Timișoara, thus supporting the efforts of medical teams in the fight against COVID- 19.

The connection project included the modernization of an existing substation with unified equipment that will be integrated to the Telecontrol center, as well as the installation of a new medium-low voltage transformer, dedicated to powering the field hospital, switches, distribution boxes and all necessary equipment for supplying from the low voltage grid. The value of the equipment and works performed by E-Distributie Banat, over 50,000 euros, is being supported by the company.

Similar projects were carried out in the last month by E-Distributie Muntenia, at the military field hospital near Bucharest, and by E-Distributie Dobrogea, at the military field hospital in Constanta. Therefore, E-Distributie has so far donated equipment and works amounting over 110.000 euros in order to support those who fight in the first line with COVID-19.
