The management of Christian Tour announces that, on October 26, it launched Vacanza.ro, a new online travel platform dedicated to individual flight and accommodation bookings. The launch marks the first stage of the company’s broader Vacanza Trip Builder project and an initial milestone in implementing the digital development strategy presented to investors at the time of the initial public offering.

The development of Vacanza.ro is aligned with the investment priorities communicated during the IPO, which included allocating part of the capital raised to technology development and digitalization.

In its initial phase, Vacanza.ro operates as an online travel agency (OTA), enabling users to search for and book flights and accommodation through separate booking flows. The platform provides access to flights from numerous airlines and a portfolio of more than three million properties worldwide.

Planned capabilities include AI-assisted recommendations for flights, accommodation, routes, daily itineraries, attractions and restaurants, based on users’ travel ideas and preferences.

The artificial intelligence component is currently under development and internal testing and is intended to be integrated progressively. Features being explored include interaction with an AI travel consultant and itinerary generation based on a destination, type of experience or preferences expressed by the user. These capabilities represent subsequent development stages and are not part of the platform’s initial launch.
