Revolut announces incorporation of Revolut Ventures for 2027 launch

    Published on

Revolut, the global fintech with 80 million customers, today announced the incorporation of Revolut Ventures in partnership with Carne Group, Europe’s largest third-party management company.

Revolut Ventures is set to create a bridge between eligible customers and high-growth private technology companies. Such companies are taking longer to go public, with the median age increasing from 6.9 years in 2014 to 11 years in 2025.

As a result, more value creation now happens before a company goes public. These non-listed investment opportunities have traditionally been reserved for large institutions and the “ultra-wealthy”, with everyday investors locked out.

In parallel, listed equity investment opportunities have halved in the US, with 7,000 publicly listed companies in 2000, vs 3,900 in 2025. Mature, cash-generative businesses are increasingly being taken private or choosing never to list, reducing the investment opportunities for retail investors.

As one of the largest privately owned technology companies, Revolut has a first-hand understanding of the private market ecosystem. The launch of Revolut Ventures is a natural evolution, following the rollout of Private Markets in July 2026 across certain EEA markets.

By partnering with the world’s most ambitious private technology companies, the Revolut Ventures platform will be integrated into the Revolut app alongside existing investment options – including US/EEA stocks, ETFs, money market funds, bonds, and Private Market funds. While these investment opportunities offer potential for growth, they are significantly more illiquid than publicly traded equities and carry a substantial risk of capital loss.

Rolandas Juteika, Head of Revolut Wealth and Trading (EEA) at Revolut said “With Revolut Ventures, we’re aiming to dismantle one of the final barriers in wealth management: retail investor exclusion from non-listed companies. Value creation happens long before an IPO, and by managing our own platform, we’re giving everyday investors the opportunity to access to tomorrow’s market leaders right from the Revolut app.”
