Against a backdrop of economic uncertainty, entrepreneurs continue to believe in their ability to find solutions, adapt, and keep building for the future. This was the key message shared by the European Women’s Business Association – PEFA and IMM Brașov following the 2026 edition of Business Outlook – “Together for the Future”, held on October 5 at Cinema Modern in Brașov.
Organized with the support of the Brașov City Hall, the event brought together entrepreneurs, representatives of public administration, and financial and banking institutions for a dialogue on competitiveness, investment, and regional development. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by companies and identify avenues for stronger cooperation between the private sector and public institutions.
Entrepreneurs’ optimism is built on hard work, adaptability, and responsibility. Behind every company are people who make difficult decisions, support jobs, and seek opportunities even when economic prospects are difficult to predict. According to the organizers, this confidence needs to be supported by greater predictability, access to financing, and ongoing dialogue with public authorities.
Andreea Negru, President of PEFA, emphasizes: “Entrepreneurs continue to build, even in uncertain times. I understand the pressure of rising costs, the weight of difficult decisions, and the responsibility they carry for their teams. That is precisely why their optimism matters: it is confidence earned through experience and through the courage to seek solutions. In Brașov, our message is that this energy needs to be supported. The power of ‘together’ means bringing entrepreneurs, public administration, and financial institutions to the same table and building partnerships that continue well beyond the event.”
Lorena Stoian, First Vice President of PEFA, highlights the conditions needed to turn confidence into growth: “Entrepreneurs’ optimism is an important resource for the economy, but it needs concrete conditions to translate into investment. Companies need clear rules, access to financing, and reliable partners with whom they can plan for the long term. Every business that grows creates opportunities for people and for the wider community. Through Business Outlook, we aim to connect entrepreneurs’ experience with the resources and decisions that can support their growth.”
Alina Paul, President of IMM Brașov and Vice President of PEFA, underlines the importance of local cooperation: “Entrepreneurs in Brașov have consistently demonstrated their ability to adapt and move forward. Today, they need to be heard and to find support for their projects. Business Outlook created a setting where the challenges facing the business community could be discussed directly with public administration and financial institutions. Brașov has significant economic potential, and unlocking it requires commitment and continuity.”
PEFA and IMM Brașov are committed to continuing the dialogue between the business community and public authorities, so that companies’ needs are better understood and reflected in the decisions shaping the local economy.
Under the theme “Together for the Future”, Business Outlook continues to bring economic dialogue closer to entrepreneurial communities. The next edition is scheduled for October 26, 2026, in Iași.
