    KPMG in Romania and Moldova: Local Talent, Regional Impact and New Leaders on the Team

    The contribution of KPMG leaders from Romania and Moldova is being recognized both locally and regionally through the assumption of new responsibilities within KPMG’s Central and Eastern Europe leadership team. Ramona Jurubiță takes on the role of Head of Clients & Markets for Central and Eastern Europe, while continuing in parallel her mandate as Country Managing Partner of KPMG in Romania and Moldova. René Schöb is appointed Head of Tax & Legal for KPMG in Central and Eastern Europe, while Mădălina Racovițan, Tax Partner and Head of People Services, takes on the role of Head of Tax & Legal for KPMG in Romania and Moldova.

    KPMG in Romania and Moldova is further strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of Raluca Enache and Alexandru Chirigiu as Partners, as well as a series of promotions to Associate Partner, Director, Senior Manager, Manager and other key positions across the organization. These appointments and promotions reflect the firm’s continued commitment to supporting professional development, recognizing the achievements of those who contribute to the organization’s success, and developing the next generation of leaders.

    Raluca Enache, Tax Partner, Head of EU Tax Centre

    Raluca has joined the KPMG Partnership in Romania and Moldova, while continuing in her role as leader of KPMG’s EU Tax Centre group for the EMA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. With more than 19 years of experience, Raluca supports clients and KPMG member firms in understanding the complexities of European tax law and assessing the impact of European and international tax developments on their operations across Europe. She coordinates KPMG’s network of European Union tax law specialists and analyzes how EU Member States implement key EU and OECD initiatives.

    Raluca frequently represents KPMG in its engagement with European institutions, with a focus on anti-abuse measures and tax transparency initiatives, and is a member of the leadership group coordinating KPMG’s global network of international tax and M&A tax specialists.

    Alexandru Chirigiu, Tax Partner, Head of Accounting & Tax Compliance

    Alexandru joins KPMG’s leadership team in Romania and Moldova with more than two decades of experience in accounting, tax and financial leadership. He leads the Accounting & Tax Compliance practice in Romania and Moldova, helping organizations modernize their finance functions and navigate an increasingly evolving regulatory environment.

    Recognized for his experience in finance function transformation, team development and the use of technology to drive performance, Alexandru works with entrepreneurs and international companies to build more agile and future-ready organizations. An ACCA, CECCAR and CCF member, Alexandru is actively involved in promoting professional excellence and innovation in the accounting and finance field.
