tbi bank signs partnership with Karpaten Turism

    Published on

tbi bank is strengthening its presence in travel financing through a new partnership with Karpaten Turism, one of Romania’s leading travel agencies. The collaboration gives customers access to financing solutions for holiday packages and is part of tbi bank’s strategy to expand flexible payment options in segments where financing can directly support the purchasing decision.

Under the new partnership, Karpaten Turism customers can access financing for periods ranging from 4 to 60 months, depending on the purchase value and applicable terms. For amounts of up to RON 4,000, the cost can be split into 4 equal instalments.

”Travel is a very important segment for us, and the partnership with Karpaten Turism allows us to be even closer to customers at a time when financial flexibility matters more than ever. We want to offer people simple and predictable options that help them plan their holidays without putting unnecessary pressure on their budgets. At the same time, partnering with a strong player in the travel industry supports our direction of expanding financing solutions across as many relevant consumer categories as possible”, said Ionuț Sabadac, VP Partners Enabling, tbi bank.

Karpaten Turism recorded total sales of approximately 250 million euros across the entire group in 2025 and has around 200 employees. The partnership with tbi bank expands the options available to the agency’s customers and supports easier access to travel services through financing solutions tailored to different needs.

”For our customers, a holiday is an important decision, and the way the budget is managed can significantly influence the final choice. Through our partnership with tbi bank, we are adding greater flexibility to the purchasing process and giving customers the possibility to plan their costs more easily. We want the Karpaten Turism experience to be as simple as possible, from choosing the destination to making the payment”, said Cristian Zaha, Chief Commercial Officer, Karpaten Turism.
