Allianz-Țiriac has announced upcoming leadership transitions set for late 2026 to ensure long-term organization development and continuity.
Aurel Badea will end his tenure at Allianz-Țiriac on December 31, 2026, following nearly 33 years with the company. During his career, he played a key role in developing the actuarial and underwriting departments and served on the executive team, including as Deputy CEO.
Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Deputy CEO, Adriana Matache will transition to lead the Technical division in November 2026 while retaining her role as Deputy CEO. Having been with Allianz-Țiriac for over nine years, she will oversee product management, underwriting, and actuarial activities.

Andrei Rubeli will join Allianz-Țiriac in November 2026 to take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Rubeli brings over 16 years of insurance industry experience across finance, pricing, and actuarial roles.
“These changes reflect Allianz-Țiriac’s ongoing focus on leadership continuity and long-term organizational development. I am grateful to Aurel Badea for his remarkable contribution to building and developing the company over the past three decades. At the same time, Adriana Matache’s deep business knowledge and experience within the organization, alongside the expertise and energy brought by Andrei Rubeli, give us confidence that we will continue to grow Allianz-Țiriac on the same solid trajectory in the years ahead,” stated Virgil Șoncutean, CEO of Allianz-Țiriac.
