After almost 20 years of investing in energy infrastructure and building an integrated business model, NOVA Power & Gas enters a new stage of development, which aims at a strong expansion of the portfolio of domestic and industrial customers.
Bucharest, July 1, 2026. To support this development, NOVA launched an investment program estimated at €1 billion for the period 2026–2029, after investments of €500 million made between 2023 and 2025.
The plan is based on an integrated model: the company produces electricity in gas and renewable power plants, stores and supplies it, so that it is less dependent on market fluctuations and can build more competitive offers for customers.
Among the company’s representative projects, we mention the development of the integrated energy platform in Câmpia Turzii, which brings together combined cycle gas electricity production, production from renewable sources, high-capacity storage, all flexible in a single location. The next energy site on the same model will be in Roșiori, in Satu Mare County, on Romania’s border with Hungary and Ukraine.
The purpose of these investments is to offer customers what matters most to them: advantageous prices and a relationship as simple as possible with the supplier. NOVA is constantly among the providers with some of the most competitive offers in the ANRE comparator and continues to invest in digital services, from online contracting to the rapid administration of services from the customer account.
“In order to have continuous energy at an affordable price, we have developed the entire chain – production, storage, supply – and the concept of a hybrid production energy site ensures the control and adaptation of the production curve to the consumption curve. This modern approach makes us competitive in the market, and our customers have a simple experience”, said Septimiu Costea, CEO of NOVA Power & Gas.
NOVA is also changing the way it talks about energy. The new brand platform, “Simple Energy. For a better life”, starts from a truth that any consumer feels: energy has become complicated, but the relationship with the supplier does not have to be. This is where the character Novu comes in. He takes over everything that is not seen, the investments, the infrastructure, the work behind energy, so that people can simply enjoy energy at a good price. The complicated part becomes invisible.
A new visual identity aligns NOVA with the E-INFRA Group, the Romanian group that develops infrastructure in energy, construction and telecommunications.
