Hotspot, a premium office space operator in Bucharest dedicated to hybrid work solutions, is strengthening its presence within The Mark building with the expansion of Hotspot Workhub by approximately 700 square meters, in order to respond to the increasingly high demand from companies interested in flexible office spaces. The new space will accommodate both the expansion of existing tenants and the integration of new companies into the Hotspot ecosystem. The expansion project was carried out in collaboration with REC Immpuls, a company specializing in office fit-outs.
Along with the new expansion, Hotspot Workhub offers private office spaces and coworking areas spanning a total of approximately 2,552 square meters, integrated into a premium ecosystem that includes a lobby and common areas designed for member interaction and well-being, a café, meeting and conference rooms, acoustic booths, and modular office spaces tailored to the needs of various types of teams and companies.
Recently, Hotspot signed a new partnership with GLS Romania, one of the leading global players in logistics and courier services. As part of the partnership, GLS Romania has leased office space in the Hotspot Workhub Tower, dedicated to the activities of the company’s sales team. The lease agreement is part of the company’s strategy to operate in a flexible, efficient work environment tailored to the current needs of modern teams.
“GLS Romania has always maintained an active presence in Bucharest through our field teams and local partnerships. The opening of this new office represents a natural step in strengthening our operations in the Capital. We were looking for a space that would support collaboration, flexibility, and the dynamic pace of our teams, and Hotspot responded very well to these needs, providing an environment that allows us to maintain and develop the high quality standards of our services.”, said Marius Gancea, Sales Division Manager, GLS
The new lease comes at a time when the office market is undergoing one of the most significant periods of transformation in recent years, with companies becoming much more selective in their choice of workspaces, and criteria such as operational flexibility, location, service quality, technological infrastructure, and the employee experience have begun to carry as much weight as cost or leased area. In this context, the premium flexible workspace model continues to gain traction among international companies looking for solutions operated at standards comparable to those of a traditional corporate headquarters.
“Our partnership with GLS Romania represents an important validation for us, both in terms of the standard we have established at Hotspot as well as the way in which the coworking concept is evolving today. We observe that this type of space is no longer perceived exclusively as a temporary solution for startups or small teams, but is becoming a strategic option even for international companies that want to offer a premium experience for their employees. Today, the difference is no longer made solely by location or design, but also by a space’s ability to function as a complete ecosystem, adapted to the modern way of working,” said Cristina Dumitrescu, Business Development Director, Hotspot
Hotspot operates two locations in Bucharest, Hotspot Workhub and Hotspot Skyhub, both developed within premium office buildings located in central areas of the city.
