The European Business Women’s Association (PEFA) is organizing the fourth edition of the Economic Trends 2026 conference, which will take place on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the headquarters of the National Bank of Romania. The event brings together decision-makers, experts, and business community representatives to outline the key directions of macroeconomic, energy, and entrepreneurial developments for the current year.
Prestigious official opening
The conference will be officially opened by Mr. Cosmin Marinescu, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Romania, alongside Ms. Andreea Negru, President of PEFA, and Ms. Lorena Stoian, First Vice President of PEFA. The presence of the NBR Deputy Governor at the opening reflects the institutional recognition of the relevance and maturity that the Economic Trends conference has gained over its four editions.
Andreea Negru, President of the European Business Women’s Association (PEFA), stated:
“Economic Trends 2026 is more than a conference — it is a space for real dialogue between those who make decisions and those who feel their effects. Now in its fourth edition, the conference has earned its place in Romania’s calendar of landmark events. We are proud to bring together the voices of financial institutions, authorities, the energy sector, and the business community. This is exactly the kind of dialogue PEFA promotes: constructive, informed, and focused on concrete solutions.”
Lorena Stoian, First Vice President of PEFA, added:
“We are going through a period in which challenges can no longer be managed individually. It is time to build real solutions together for a growing economy. Economic Trends 2026 brings to the same table leaders from the public and private sectors who can transform uncertainty into opportunity through concrete dialogue and the exchange of relevant perspectives. It is no longer about options, but about the responsibility to change direction and build together a solid economic path for Romania, for future generations.”
