RAFINOR exceeds 40 million euros turnover in 2025

    Published on

RAFINOR, the leading Romanian precious metals processor, closed 2025 with approximately 5,000 locally produced gold bars and surpassed the 40 million euros turnover threshold, alongside an almost 300 percent increase in the number of clients in its portfolio. This performance reflects the rapid expansion in demand for investment gold produced in Romania.

2025 marked a key milestone in the company’s evolution with the opening of its refinery in a new location in Bucharest, in January. This step enabled the expansion of technological capabilities, increased production efficiency, and full alignment with international precious metals refining standards.

“For us, 2025 was the year we proved that Romania is able to produce, refine, and distribute investment gold at international standards, while keeping added value within the national economy. RAFINOR is not just a precious metals refinery, but a strategic infrastructure for the development of a mature, transparent, and competitive local industry,” said Claudiu Diaconu, Founder and CEO of RAFINOR.

In 2025, RAFINOR also initiated the process of obtaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, aiming to implement higher standards for quality, environmental responsibility, and occupational health and safety, even though these certifications are not legally required.
