Total sales volume reached nearly 124 million euros, supported especially by advances in non-auto and life insurance. In the first nine months of the year, claims paid to customers grew by 26%, reaching nearly 28 million euros, while statutory net profit before tax rose nearly 43% to 16.5 million euros.

“Results from the first nine months reflect our ongoing commitment to customers and the impact of UNIQA’s sustainable growth strategy. We focus on innovation and quality services to offer solid protection and solutions tailored to local market needs. We also continue to leverage significant development potential in Central and Eastern Europe, an essential pillar of the UNIQA Group’s strategy, where Romanian operations play an important role,” stated Paul Cazacu, President of the Board of Directors – CEO UNIQA Asigurări.

The insurance portfolio continued to develop with an increasingly diversified structure in the first 9 months of the year, from home insurance (+7%), travel insurance (+22%) and CASCO (+6%) for individuals, to SME insurance (+12%) and accident insurance, with volume nearly tripled compared to Q3 2024.
