The votes cast by 573 representatives of suppliers and retailers for the applications submitted for the 20th edition of the PIAŢA Awards designated 30 companies that won one or more trophies, out of the approximately 100 companies that submitted applications. “We remain consistent with the established tradition of keeping the emotions and surprises intact for the Gala evening, so we will not disclose anything about the identity of the winners. However, what we are happy to reveal is that, among this year’s laureates, there are two companies that win a PIAŢA trophy for the first time,” said Cristian Bădescu. General Manager, Piaţa Magazine.

PIAŢA Awards competition is unique by its the mechanism for designating the winners, namely the cross-voting: the representatives of suppliers vote for the applications submitted by the retailers and, conversely, the voters representing the retailers vote for the applications submitted by the suppliers. In this way, the winners are determined by their business partners themselves, which justifies the competition’s nickname – “The Consumer Goods Industry Awards”.
The votes collected by ISRA – the coordinator of the voting process and the specialist partner of the PIAŢA Awards – during the 19 days allocated for voting represent a voter turnout of over 60% of the total number of voters invited to vote (937), a “presence at the polls” that legitimizes the performance of the winners of the 54 trophies, but also of the candidacies that, due to the large number of votes obtained, ranked in the Top 4 most voted candidacies.
Of the 30 winning companies at the 2025 edition of the PIAŢA Awards, 28 were also laureates at at least one of the previous editions, which indicates a consistently high level of performance, but also a continuity of appreciation from the business partners who evaluated and voted for them, especially since some of these companies obtained multiple trophies at this year’s edition. We will find out on the evening of the Gala which companies are these and with which nominations they won the most votes.
And also at the PIAŢA Awards Gala we will find out which are the nominations that received the most votes and ranked among the top four in each competition section: in total, 160 top nominations will be projected on the screen of the hall to receive the due applause of the participants. As we have already announced, the PIAŢA Awards Gala takes place on the evening of November 20, at the Bragadiru Palace in Bucharest starting at 6:30 PM.
