An evening dedicated to performance, leadership and partnership for the development of Romania
The National Military Circle Palace hosted the Excellence in Business Gala, a prestigious event organized by the European Businesswomen’s Federation PEFA, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of National Defense (MApN). The gala celebrated performance, innovation and leadership in the business and educational environment, bringing together prominent figures from the public and private sectors, leaders of the central administration, diplomats, representatives of academia and civil society.
The official opening of the event was attended by the Secretary General of the Government of Romania – Ștefan Radu Oprea, the Consul General of Romania in Turin – Cosmin Dumitrescu, the Secretary of State of the MApN – Eduard Bachide, as well as the Senator and Honorary President of IMM Romania – Florin Jianu.
The gala began with the awarding of the Excellence in Education Awards, which rewarded the outstanding performances of young people from Transilvania University of Brașov – the Excellence Award at the European Skills Olympiad – EuroSkills Herning 2025, in the Mechatronics section. The event continued with the awarding of awards for the business environment, in recognition of resilience and performance achieved in difficult economic conditions. Thus, renowned financial institutions and companies, both from the public and private sectors, exceptional people and projects were awarded: BCR, ALRO, CANCOM Romania, Transgaz SA, Grampet Group, CEC Bank, Ansi Holding – member of Alexander International, UNSAR, Cristina Bălan – PARFUMONDE, Pluxee Romania, Platforma România Inteligentă – Antena 3 CNN, Electrica S.A., Advanced Business Software, DN AGRAR, SN Nuclearelectrica SA, CN Romarm SA, Cloud 9, IMSAT Groupe SNEF and Cosmetrice.

The event also had a special significance through the continuity of the #SheForRomania campaign, carried out by the MApN in partnership with PEFA, which promotes female leadership, professional excellence and the active participation of women in public life and in the decision-making environment.
Through its scale and prestige, the Business Excellence Gala has established itself as a national benchmark for recognizing value and performance, bringing to the forefront authentic examples of success and collaboration between state and private institutions.
