Alesonor begins construction of the Pescariu Sports and Leisure Center within Amber Forest project

    Published on

Alesonor announces the start of construction on the Pescariu Sports and Leisure Center in the Amber Forest residential project. With an estimated investment of 8 million euros, the project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026.

Conceived as the main sports, wellness, and leisure hub for North Bucharest and Ilfov, the center will serve both Amber Forest residents and the wider community across the region.

As part of Alesonor’s long-term vision, the company has partnered with Pescariu Sports&Spa to create a 12,000 sqm complex. The project will feature outdoor tennis and padel courts, two leisure pools (for adults and children), and a 2,200 sqm central building that will include a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a modern spa, and a premium fitness club.

“With this sports and wellness center, operated by Pescariu Sports&Spa – a recognized leader in the field – we are taking another important step toward our goal of building a sustainable, well-rounded community. Amber Forest was envisioned as an active contributor to improving people’s lives, and Pescariu is the right partner to help bring this vision to life. We carefully studied our residents’ preferences, as well as the regional market, and we are confident this project will become a landmark not only for families in Amber Forest but also for people throughout North Bucharest and Ilfov who are looking for a comprehensive destination for wellness, sports, and leisure.”, said Alex Skouras, Managing Partner of Alesonor.

“For Pescariu Sports&Spa, the partnership with Alesonor is an opportunity to extend our expertise to a much broader community across North Bucharest and Ilfov, encouraging more people to integrate sports and wellness into their daily routines. This new center will be a state-of-the-art club, designed with the most modern standards, technologies, and facilities — a natural evolution from our existing club, which we have been developing and refining for over 20 years. Our ambition is to create a benchmark project that sets a new standard for sports and wellness in Romania, offering a diverse range of high-quality services, accessible to a wide audience and designed for the entire family. We are confident that this new club will not only complement Amber Forest but also redefine what a modern leisure and wellbeing destination means within a sustainable community.”, said Ioana Georgescu, Managing Partner of Pescariu Sports&Spa.

Amber Forest includes 690 nZEB smart villas and apartments, a 5.3-hectare park with communal green spaces, and a wide variety of amenities. These include educational services in partnership with Verita International School & Kindergarten (opening September 2026), along with a commercial area featuring cafés, restaurants, shops, a co-working hub, and medical services.
