Chimcomplex received from the Ministry of Health biocidal notice for sodium hypochlorite concentration 1.25%. In recent weeks, the company has modified its industrial production lines in order to be able to produce sodium hypochlorite, as a necessary product for public health, in the context of the Coronavirus pandemic. Hypochlorite will be launched in production on the platforms from Ramnicu Valcea and Onesti in an effort to slow down and limit the spread of COVID-19 in Romania.

The first deliveries will be prioritized according to emergencies and institutions that need acute disinfection of external spaces. The company estimates that it will initially reach a delivery capacity of 1,000 tons / county.
