Hidroelectrica announces the signing of the contract with WALDEVAR Energy for the floating photovoltaic panel system – pilot project Nufărul, in Olt County. The contract has a value of 39.2 million lei excluding VAT, with a completion period of 14 months (4 months for design and 10 months for execution).
The photovoltaic system consists of 620 Wp photovoltaic panels, 100 kW inverters, total installed power in panels of 10 MW and energy produced of approximately 13.4 GWh/year.

This investment marks a premiere for the company, being the first floating photovoltaic panel system project implemented by Hidroelectrica.
Hidroelectrica is the largest green energy producer in Romania and provides essential technological services for the National Energy System. The company operates 188 plants with a hydropower capacity of 6.4 GW and – in addition, it owns a wind farm at Crucea, with an installed capacity of 108 MW.
