ENEVO Group and Unigea Solar Projects Romania sign the contract for the construction of an 85 MW photovoltaic park in Arad

ENEVO Group has been appointed general contractor for the construction of the Helios Arad Photovoltaic Power Plant (CEF), which will have an installed capacity of 85 MW and will be the largest photovoltaic park in the region. The project beneficiary is the international company Unigea Solar Projects Romania.
ENEVO Group won this project, which includes both the construction of the photovoltaic power plant, as well as its dispatching, operation and maintenance after commissioning.
“For us, the challenge of building the park on the former ash dump of CET Arad is interesting. The dump was closed and entered into a greening project starting in 2014, being one of the best greened such dumps in Romania. Implementing a renewable energy production project on such land represents a practical solution for the ecological reuse of former industrial lands that cannot be used otherwise. We are convinced that this model will be followed more and more often. We thank and appreciate the trust that Unigea has placed in our team, through a valuable and visionary partnership”, said Radu Brașoveanu, Technical Director of ENEVO Group, upon signing the contract.
Unigea Solar Projects Romania, part of Unigea Group, the beneficiary of the contract, is an international company founded in 2007, headquartered in Germany, focused on the development of projects for large-scale photovoltaic systems.
