    Romgaz donates 1.25 million RON to Romanian Red Cross for fight against coronavirus outbreak

    Romania’s largest natural gas producer Romgaz donates 1.25 million RON to Romanian Red Cross for the fight against coronavirus break.

    The Romanian Red Cross will purchase and distribute 1,000,000 medical masks for protection against COVID-19 and intensifies the effort to combat the spread of the new coronavirus on the Romanian territory.

    “Together for Romania. This is the message I want to convey during this period,” said Adrian Volintiru, general manager of Romgaz. “Solidarity, empathy for our fellow citizens, humanity and responsibility must be the attributes that guide us more than ever today and in the coming period. I call on all the economic agents that can contribute to the support of the state institutions in the fight with the new COVID-19 virus not to hesitate, as we see that sustained efforts are being made to save human lives and reduce the spread of the virus. Today, we must show that the Romanians are united and only together we will be able to overcome this difficult period.”
