OVES Enterprise signs deal with Overwatch Aerospace to integrate AI technology into advanced military drones

    Published on

OVES Enterprise, a Romanian company specializing in software solutions for aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity applications, has signed a strategic memorandum with Overwatch Aerospace, a British company specializing in the development and production of military drones and advanced aerospace solutions. Overwatch Aerospace’s drones are currently used by the British government, among others, and in operations conducted in Ukraine.

The strategic partnership between the two companies aims to integrate the capabilities of the Nemesis AI platform into Overwatch Aerospace drones, designed for complex military and security scenarios.

More specifically, Nemesis AI technology will significantly improve the performance of optical target identification systems on drones, implementing advanced artificial intelligence solutions, super sensor fusion, and innovative situational awareness methods.

These solutions will enable drones to operate efficiently even in complex environments where radio signals or GPS are unavailable, carrying out sophisticated missions with high precision and speed in obstacle avoidance and target interception.

Drones developed by Overwatch Aerospace are already deployed by the British government in operations in Ukraine and other regions, standing out due to their advanced technology and proven operational efficiency in real combat conditions.

“Signing this strategic memorandum with Overwatch Aerospace strengthens our position as an international provider of artificial intelligence software solutions for the aerospace and military industries. Overwatch Aerospace is internationally recognized for innovation and efficiency in real combat conditions, with major government partnerships. We are confident that integrating Nemesis AI will significantly enhance the operational performance of these drones and open new opportunities for international strategic collaboration”, says Mihai Filip, CEO of OVES Enterprise.

Overwatch Aerospace drones, equipped with solutions developed by OVES Enterprise, will also benefit from advanced features such as obstacle avoidance, rapid and precise interceptor detection, and high-precision navigation in unknown terrains. Additionally, they will feature perimeter protection through positioning based on intelligent map comparison and analysis (“Absolute Positioning with Map Comparison and Subtraction”), enabling drones to determine their exact location even in environments where conventional navigation references are unavailable or compromised.

This memorandum is part of a series of recent strategic initiatives by OVES Enterprise, aimed at strengthening its global position in developing cutting-edge technological solutions for the aerospace and defense industries. The collaboration confirms the international recognition of OVES Enterprise’s capability to develop and implement revolutionary technologies, generating significant opportunities for future developments.
