Schneider Electric Romania integrates AI to increase operational and energy efficiency

    Published on

Schneider Electric is integrating artificial intelligence into its business processes for more agile and efficient operations. Considered to be as revolutionary as PCs and the internet in the past, artificial intelligence is gaining traction across all industries, redefining operations and business strategies.

Thus, at the service level, Schneider Electric Romania is harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to assess customers’ energy efficiency and shape decarbonization strategies.

“As a global organization, we integrate an enormous volume of knowledge and data on sustainability,” explains Lucian Enaru, Country General Manager for Romania, Armenia and the Republic of Moldova, Schneider Electric. “With the help of artificial intelligence, we can analyse this data and create benchmarks based on which companies can evaluate their carbon footprint more easily and quickly. This type of analysis is detailed, precise and objective, greatly facilitating the decision-making process and allowing us to propose relevant, pragmatic and efficient decarbonization plans to our clients.”

Another extremely important chapter on which artificial intelligence is making its mark in the field of energy efficiency is the predictive maintenance of energy networks and installations. The sensor systems installed by Schneider Electric specialists in commercial or industrial buildings communicate directly with the Schneider Electric center in Novisad, Serbia, transmitting information on the status of electrical installations and allowing the identification of any potential operating problems before they occur.

“Given our policy of cultivating our internal specialists and capitalizing on local expertise, we are happy to provide our colleagues with solid work tools, based on artificial intelligence, that will make their work easier and more efficient and help them have the greatest possible positive impact on their clients’ activities,” explains Lucian Enaru.
