Antonel Tanase, the General Secretary of the Romanian Government, together with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Transelectrica, Cătălin Nițu, and the members of the Board Adrian Moise and Corneliu Bogdan Marcu paid a working visit to two of the most important investment objectives for the Capital area.

The visit took place at the work site for the conditions of coexistence between the high-voltage overhead power lines and the road objective Bd. Nicolae Grigorescu – Splai Dudescu and at the site for the refurbishment of the Electrical Transformation Station 400/110/20 kV Domnești, the most important investment objective of Transelectrica in the Capital area.

The works required to achieve the coexistence conditions between the high voltage overhead power lines belonging to both Transelectrica and the distribution operator E-Distribuţie Muntenia, and the road infrastructure objective have a total value of over 4,8 million RON without VAT, to be finalized by March 31, 2020.

The Electric Transformation Station 400/110 / 20kV Domnești represents an important energy hub of the Electricity Transport Network in the metropolitan area of the Capital, ensuring the supply of a significant part of the consumption of the Municipality of Bucharest. The refurbishment of the Domnești station is part of the extensive process carried out by Transelectrica to strengthen the electricity transmission network in the Bucharest area. The deadline for completing the refurbishment works is October 2020.
