Sameday announces the acqusition of Pactic Group from Hungary

    Published on

Sameday courier company announces the acquisition of Pactic Group from Hungary. Following the expansion of its out of home delivery infrastructure in Hungary, this new transaction aligns with Sameday’s strategy to create an open delivery area in the region and improve its presence in both the Hungarian and Bulgarian markets.

Founded in 2010, Pactic Group is a multi-brand platform that offers services to e-tailers and SMEs active in online commerce. Through its courier services resellers, Allpacka and Furgefutar, which are integral parts of the group, individual users can compare and access national and international delivery services. Additionally, Pactic facilitates the complete outsourcing of logistics processes and delivery, handling approximately 3.5 million deliveries in 2023.

Headquartered in Budapest, Pactic Group has around 40 employees and recorded a turnover of around 15 million euros in 2023.

“We believe in borderless delivery services that provide customers with the same high-quality experience, whether in Romania, Hungary, or Bulgaria.  Acquiring the Pactic Group is another step in Sameday’s plan to improve its presence in the region. We remain committed to reaching 8,500 delivery points in the three countries we operate in by the end of the year, through new easybox units as well as the introduction of shop-in-shop solutions,” says Lucian Baltaru, CEO of Sameday Group.

In April, Sameday announced its intention to acquire the Hungarian courier company Sprinter. Following approval from the relevant authorities, the transaction was finalized in June.

The total planned investment by the SAMEDAY Group for 2024 is over 60 million euros, half of which will be directed towards increasing delivery capacity by expanding the out-of-home network.
