    Energy Minister signs 14 financing contracts for photovoltaic panels for town halls and public institutions in total value of 7 million euros

    The Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, today signed 14 financing contracts through the Modernization Fund for investments in photovoltaic panels with a total value of 34.5 million RON (7 million euros).

    The cities with which the contracts were signed: Negrești, Negru Vodă and Dorohoi.

    The municipalities with which the contracts were signed: Topraisar, Frumușeni, Petrești, Beceni, Ardușat, Tansa, Valea Lupului, Costișa, Grajduri and Coșna.

    Also, a financing contract was signed with the Polytechnic University of Timișoara.

    Sebastian Burduja, Minister of Energy: “We support town halls and public institutions to ensure their energy independence, while having green energy and a cleaner environment. Through the investments we have signed today, the municipal and town halls can create jobs in the community, and the money saved from electricity bills can be redirected to other needs of the residents. These contracts join nine others we signed last week. We continue at full speed the use of European money. We help not only large towns but also communities in all areas of the country. At the same time, we are close to educational institutions that want to ensure their energy independence.”
