    Published on

Enel has reached a new market capitalization record, exceeding, for the first time, 80 billion euros in value, confirming its position as the foremost company in the Italian market and the leading company in the utilities sector in Europe.

The record was made possible by the sustainable and integrated business model, first adopted in 2015, which has allowed the Group to leverage on the opportunities related to the energy transition.

In December 2019, Enel has set a new record for market capitalization, reaching 7 Euro per share and exceeding, for the first time, 71 billion Euro in value.
