The Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization announced the signing of the implementation contract for “Romania’s Single Digital Portal – PDURo” , a project worth over 96 million RON without VAT, financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The “Single Digital Portal of Romania”, developed by the Authority for Digitalization of Romania, will facilitate access to information on the internal market of the European Union.

“It is an essential moment for the digitalization of the public administration in Romania and for the quality of the services that the administration offers. The fact that in one place the citizen will be able to interact with the administration, to shorten and streamline administrative processes is a significant step for a modern administration, where the citizen is truly treated as a partner”, said the head of the Prime Minister’s Office , Alexandru-Mihai Ghigiu, at the event organized by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization.

“Through PDURo, we bring the functionalities and digital public services in a unique interface. Romania’s unique digital portal means a digital architecture that supports the online interaction of every citizen with the Romanian state. The user experience will be the most important in the development of this portal, we want it to be easy to access and efficient for every citizen. We will bring the state to a click away for all Romanians, in the country and throughout the European Union, and the Romanian state will be truly efficient, it will provide digital public services to citizens and companies. Public services such as registering a car or applying for a pension will be completely digitized, without physical documents”, said Bogdan Ivan, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization.

The PDURo portal will replace the Single Electronic Contact Point (PCUe), under the administration of the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania, with a new platform, aligned with European standards for Single Digital Gateway and which will be integrated into the “Your Europe” portal, available throughout European Union, in all official languages.
