    Kaufland opens new hypermarket in Constanta

    Kaufland Romania expands its presence at the national level and opens the fifth store in the city of Constanta. Through this investment, the company reaches a national network of 175 hypermarkets and creates 60 new jobs.

    The new Kaufland store is located on Ion Roata Street and has a total area of 4,600 sqm, of which 2,700 sqm are intended for interior sales space.

    The store will be open to the public starting Thursday, February 22, and will have a daily operating schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

    The new location has 212 parking spaces, including a charging station with 3 parking spaces for electric cars. Customers also have 2 bike racks at their disposal.

    Inside the store, customers will find a self-service recycling machine where they can recycle packaging in exchange for extra discount vouchers. They can also bring PET, glass and metal packaging here (with a volume of up to 3 liters), the guarantee of 0.50 RON being returned only for packaging with the symbol “Packaging with guarantee” printed on the label.
