TERRA Romania Construction Machinery achieved turnover of 94 million euros in 2023

Last year, TERRA Romania Construction Machinery, part of the Austrian group TERRA Holding, reported a turnover of 94 million euros, a growth of more than 77 percent compared to 2022. The company’s expansion plans for 2024 include investments of 6 million euros.

“European-funded projects are the main reason for the growth of the construction machinery market in 2023, by about 50 percent compared to 2022, reaching around 4,000 new machines. A significant increase is also due to the acceleration of infrastructure projects funded mainly by the PNRR. The largest share came from the sale of new JCB machines, but also from the business we have with other brands distributed by TERRA, which had a significant increase compared to the previous year, making 2023 the best year in the company’s history on the Romanian market.

Such growth required very good planning of stocks, ordering and resources, both human and financial”, says Victor Vasluian, CEO of TERRA Romania.
