    Published on

ING Bank Romania will provide financing of over 32 million RON to the Adrem group, one of the largest entrepreneurial businesses providing services and solutions for the energy and industrial sector in Romania.

With these funds, Adrem aims to put the company’s development plans into action, with focus on energy efficiency services, playing an important role in Romania’s transition towards a more sustainable future.

“We support the Romanian entrepreneurial environment and we are pleased to be with the Adrem group for the materialization of their development plans for the next period. With a history of over 30 years on the Romanian market, Adrem started as a family business, which became a success story.

Digitization and sustainability are at the heart of ING’s strategy, and Adrem has an important role in numerous energy efficiency, green energy and electric mobility projects and programs. We share common values, and this funding has strengthened our strategic partnership. We intend to continue to support their efforts for the transition to a more sustainable future” – Alexandrina Băluță, Medium Companies Strategy Manager, in the Business Banking division, within ING Bank Romania.

Adrem is one of the largest suppliers in Romania of systems for smart grids, from complex general contracting works, SCADA type automation systems, to turnkey energy efficiency projects, including the installation of photovoltaic panels and the construction of charging stations for electric cars. The company ended 2023 with a turnover of approximately 280 million lei, more than 50% higher than in 2022.

“Adrem has a major contribution in the modernization of the energy industry in Romania and in the green transition. Since our establishment, we have made a commitment to the people and the communities in which we operate to contribute to the development of our country through projects with economic, social and environmental impact. In the future, we aim to get involved as much as possible in this technological and social revolution and become one of the main actors in the transition to a sustainable future. We are glad that on this journey we have our reliable partner ING with us who supports us in achieving our common goals.

The energy transition generates a lot of opportunities for both the economy and the population. It is our duty to learn to live more sustainably, to save energy and the planet’s resources for a cleaner and welcoming environment for future generations”, says Corneliu Bodea, Adrem CEO.

Adrem Group consists of three companies: Adrem Invest, Adrem Engineering and Adrem Link. Adrem Invest offers complete services and solutions for the development and maintenance of utility networks. Adrem Engineering supports the digitization of the Romanian energy infrastructure through complex general entrepreneurship projects, and Adrem Link implements turnkey green energy and energy efficiency projects. The group has over 1,500 employees throughout the country, who provide expertise for the planning, development and implementation of turnkey solutions, customized to each client’s needs.
