Bosch, global leader in the provision of technologies and services, announced recently it continues the social actions, reiterating its commitment to education in Romania.

In this respect, 200 Bosch employees from five different locations spent over 3,300 hours working on renovating two schools in Hunedoara County. The budget assigned to the project exceeded the amount of 20,000 Euro, the amount represented by the donation of the Bosch Engineering Center in Cluj, together with the contribution of the Department of Social Responsibility of Robert Bosch S.R.L.

The Romos project started at the initiative of two teams from the Bosch Engineering Center in Cluj, who decided to donate their annual event dedicated to employees, thus becoming an example of civic responsibility for both the community in Romos, the children in the locality, and for colleagues within the company. “What I did in Romos confirmed to me that such a project awakens in each of us that feeling of unconditional giving, of affiliation, of” together we can do anything! “, Starting from the team of volunteers, to the community of Romos, totally removed from the daily chart and engaged in a corporate project, defined by times, organization, presentations, meetings, centralizers and orders well defined by a predetermined chart,” said Andrei Hüttner, CSR volunteer and project coordinator within Bosch Romania.
