    UNIQA reports gross written premiums of 90 million euros, up 9 percent in the first nine months

    At the end of the third quarter of 2023, UNIQA Asigurari and UNIQA Asigurari de viata reported gross written premiums in a total amount of 90.3 million euros, 9 percent more than in the same period last year.

    The number of UNIQA clients was over 10 percent higher than in the first 9 months of 2022. The most relevant dynamic was registered among home insurance clients, these being with 20 percent more in the UNIQA portfolio, according to the situation at the end of September 2023, compared to the first 9 months of last year.

    In the non-motor insurance segment, UNIQA recorded a sales volume of 44 million euros, up 20 percent compared to the one reported at the end of the third quarter of 2022.

    UNIQA marked double-digit percentage increases in sales in the area of ​​technical insurance (+36 percent), as well as in the segment of solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, where the advance was 16 percent in the first 9 months of 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year.

    Home insurance continued to develop in the UNIQA portfolio, so that the level of sales in this segment, in the first 9 months of 2023, was 24 percent higher than last year, for the same reference interval.

    Travel insurance has also maintained its upward momentum, with UNIQA reporting a 28 percent increase in sales in this segment at the end of the third quarter of 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.
