Minister Bogdan-Gruia Ivan: “We will launch the public tenders for the governmental cloud in the next 30 days”

    Published on

“In the next 30 days we will launch all the necessary public tenders for the governmental cloud. By the end of the year, we will launch public tenders for the national interoperability platform. Last week, I signed the ministerial order by which I set the interoperability norms of the Romanian state and electronic public services for citizens. More precisely, 30 e-government services will be brought from the offline area to the online area,” Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, the Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization said during a press conference.

“Through this approach, we will eliminate standing in line at counters with phone interactions. Basically, people will spend less time interacting with the state.

Another very important element is the single point of contact for each natural person in Romania, whether they represent themselves or represent a legal entity, in relation to the Romanian state.

We are talking about huge financing of over one billion euros – from European money – for these projects.

Today we launched the guide for 1000 digital hubs in the rural area, for 1000 libraries that will be equipped with equipment to help increase digital skills for 100,000 Romanians. I want to make all interactions between citizens and the Romanian state more efficient.”
