City Insurance posts 38 percent growth in subscribed gross premiums after first nine months

    Published on

City Insurance, the leader of the general insurance market in Romania, ended the first nine months of 2019 with a volume of subscribed gross premiums of 298 million euros, an increase of 38% over the same period of 2018.

Of the total gross premiums, RCA insurance has a value of 252 million euros, and the non-RCA premiums have a value of 46 million euros.

“Our 38 percent business growth is an important performance in any industry, even more so in a competitive one, such as that of general insurance,” said Renato Szilagyi, Vice President of the City Insurance Directorate. “We simplify the work processes and we improve every day both the City Insurance portfolio of products and their quality. Then there’s innovation. We digitize with our own resources. All of the above brought us to where we are today: a total volume of premiums subscribed of almost 300 million euros and exceeding the threshold of 100,000 paid damage files.”
