    Garanti BBVA grants a 10.7 million Euro loan to UKS Stamping to build a plant in Romania

    Garanti BBVA has granted UKS Stamping Romania, a subsidiary of the UKS Stamping group, a EUR 10.7 million investment loan to support the development of an automotive parts and accessories plant in Arges County, Romania.

    “We are thrilled to offer financial backing to UKS Stamping as they embark on establishing a production facility in Romania. At Garanti BBVA, our mission extends far beyond the realm of traditional financial services. For 25 years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to catalyzing the economic growth of our nation. Through this investment loan, we reiterate our dedication to supporting endeavors that make substantial contributions to the country’s economic landscape. The automotive components sector plays a pivotal role in Romania’s economy, fostering job creation, spurring innovation, and bolstering the country`s progress. Romania, indeed, brims with immense potential, and we firmly believe that by endorsing projects like this manufacturing plant, we are actively nurturing and unlocking that potential,” said Bilge Demirer, Garanti BBVA Deputy General Manager.

    The parent company of UKS Stamping Romania also operates two Turkish companies in the city of Bursa, which were inaugurated in 2008 and 2019 and have a combined workforce of about 250 people. The company serves clients such as Adient, Toyotetsu, Toyota Bashoku, Hydac, and Stellantis.
