    Conpet reported net profit of 29.4 million RON in first six months

    CONPET SA registered, within the first 6 months 2023, a turnover of 241.20 million RON, higher by 3.4 percent YoY and lower by 1.1 percent as compared to the budget provisions.

    The company achieved in 6 months 2023 a net profit amounting to 29.48 million RON, by 7.26 million RON over the budgeted level and by 4.63 million RON under the level recorded in the same period 2022.

    On June 30, 2023, the operating revenues recorded an increase by 1.4 percent YoY (264.36 million RON: 6 months 2023 from 260.82 million RON 6 months 2022). As compared to the budget provisions, the operating revenues decreased by 1.1 percent.

    The operating expenses recorded an increase by 4.1 percent as compared to the same period in 2022 (6 months 2023: 233.40 million RON, 6 months 2022: 224.30 million RON). The increase in the operating expenses was mainly determined by the increase of the expenses with the modernization quota, of the personnel expenses, of the depreciation and of the expenses with transport by rail. As compared to the budget, the operating expenses are 4.2 percent below the budgeted level.

    The operating profit achieved in 6 months 2023, of 30.96 million RON, decreased by 5.55 million RON (15.2 percent) as compared to 6 months 2022. As compared to the budget provisions, the operating profit increased by 7.35 million RON (31.1 percent)

    The gross profit recorded a decrease by 5.94 million RON (14.6 percent) as compared to 2022H1. As compared to the budget, the gross profit increased by 9.08 million RON (35.5 percent).
