Andreea Cotiga, CPI Property Group: “The model with a fixed work schedule is coming to an end”

    Published on

“The office space market would have had this evolution without the pandemic. For several years we have been witnessing a paradigm shift. Things change and we have to constantly adapt. The pandemic accelerated developments in the office market and forced us to adapt, it was a catalyst. The transition to the hybrid working mode allowed a balanced mix between working from the office and working from home. The model with a fixed work schedule, from Monday to Friday, from 9 to 5, or from 9 to 6, is coming to an end,” Andreea Cotiga, Head of Leasing Office, CPI Property Group said during Workplace of the Future conference organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.

“At the end of last year, 74% of US companies had already implemented or were planning to implement the hybrid way of working.

It is important to facilitate and encourage communication and collaboration between teams and team members. In addition, it is important to promote a culture of flexibility and trust. These aspects must be seen in the way work is organized, but also in the way we treat employees.

We created the myHive concept on the principles of hospitality, out of concern for the end consumers, for those who use the offices, common spaces of the building and service spaces, i.e. the employees of our tenants. The concept adapted along the way, during the pandemic, and we added new services and facilities so as to offer flexibility. Today, the myHive concept is a mix between the traditional office and the flexible office.

We live in dynamic times, and the paradigm is changing. There are all kinds of opportunities that we can and must take advantage of.”
