    Real estate investments to reach 1.1 billion euros in 2019, says JLL

    The volume of real estate investments will reach 1.1 billion euros in 2019, more than 20% higher compared to 2018, according to JLL estimates.

    “For the first three quarters of the year, the volume of investments is around 580 million euros. JLL has been involved in some of the largest investment transactions of the first 9 months of this year, representing approximately 300 million euros or more than 60% of the volume of transactions brokered by real estate consultants, respectively 473.5 million euros,” said Andrei Vacaru, Head of Capital Markets at JLL.

    Bucharest attracted over 40% of the total volume of investments in the first 9 months of 2019, compared to 79% in 2018.

    The volumes were dominated by transactions with office spaces (60%), while the retail spaces attracted about 28% of the market, and the industrial almost 9% of the total.

    The average value of the transactions performed in the first 3 quarters of 2019 was 26.4 million euros, compared to an average of 29.3 million euros in 2018.
