    Electrica Group announces investments of 750.5 million RON in 2022

    The Electrica Group has planned investments of 750.5 million RON this year, mostly in the distribution sector.

    The investment budget will be divided as follows: 689 million RON investment plan of the Distributie Energie Electrica Romania (DEER); 47.2 million RON investment plan of Electrica Furnizare; 3.6 million lei the investment plan of Electrica Serv.

    In 2021, Electrica posted an individual net profit of 321.8 million RON, increasing by 7.8 percent compared to the level of 2020. The net result of the Electrica Group was a loss of 553 million RON.

    Electrica Group is a key player in the Romanian electricity distribution and supply market, as well as one of the most important players in the energy services sector.

    Electrica Group provides services to about 3.8 million users and has a national coverage area – with a coverage of 18 counties in three geographical areas for electricity distribution: Northern Transylvania, Southern Transylvania, Northern Muntenia, and throughout the country for supply of electricity and for maintenance and energy services.
