    Published on

E.ON is donating one million Euro to aid organizations working to help refugees and those affected by the war in Ukraine.

“The company is currently experiencing a great wave of solidarity and willingness to help the people in Ukraine. Our employees in our regional subsidiaries in Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary are already seeing the terrible humanitarian effects of the war on a daily basis in the immediate neighborhood of Ukraine. Concrete relief measures on the ground are either already underway or in the planning stage – these include the construction of energy infrastructure for refugee accommodation on the Romanian border with Ukraine and the provision of in-house leisure and recreational accommodation for refugees in the Czech Republic. In Poland, sleeping bags, bandages and mattresses are being collected at E.ON headquarters there to be given to the Polish Red Cross,“ a release shows.
