Packeta Romania, the local branch of Packeta Group, the global digital platform for online commerce and the company with the largest network of pick-up points in Central and Eastern Europe, aims for a significant increase in the number of pick-up points this year. Thus, at the end of the year, Packeta Romania estimates a national network of over 1,000 pick-up points, increasing from 500 such locations at the end of 2021.

At the same time, the company aims in 2022 an increase of up to 50 percent in the number of partner online stores. “We are currently collaborating with over 1,000 online stores and legal sellers. Our partners realized the benefits of collaborating with Packeta Romania and the advantages of this alternative delivery service that is becoming increasingly popular in Romania,” says Alexandr Jeleascov, CEO of Packeta Romania.

The adoption of alternative delivery services is increasing in Romania. On average, the adoption rate among Romanian customers for pick-up delivery is about 35 percent of the total packages delivered and continues to increase.
