    Bramac changes name to BMI Romania, invests in digitalization

    Bramac Roof Systems, leader in complete systems for pitched and flat roofs, has changed its name to BMI Romania Covering Systems. This change reflects company’s membership in BMI Group, the largest manufacturer of flat and pitched roofing and waterproofing solutions throughout Europe, with a significant presence in parts of Asia and Africa.

    “This change of the company name will consolidate BMI Romania’s position and brands on the Romanian roofing market and not only. It is a great accomplishment for us, that leads to the natural development of the company. In the new business strategy we have also focused on investments in digitalizaton, following nowadays trends in the market. We have adapted on the go and we have created online platforms that would come to the aid of our customers,” said Mircea Dumitru, Country Managing Director BMI Romania.

    The year 2021 has been a year of transformation and evolution for BMI Romania. Considering the increased demand for solutions that offer energetic independence, the photovoltaic (PV), BMI Romania has established a department that offers consulting to anyone interested in the photovoltaic and solar thermal modules.

    Likewise, considering this year’s increasing consumer interest in technological solutions, a trend that has been generated by the pandemic, the company has invested in digitalization. The first new and ambitious digital project is the mobile application BMI Bramac. This was launched in May 2021. The application allows a 3D visualization of BMI Bramac products and AR technology gives the user a glimps on how the roof of his house would look like with the tiles in Bramac portfolio.
