Loredana Oprisa, Olympian Parks Management: “We are looking at land acquisition in both key and secondary cities”

“The transaction with CTP gives us confidence in the product developed by Helios Phoenix under the Olympian Parks umbrella. For us, a very busy period is coming. We take care of the projects we sold to CTP, we take care of renting the vacant spaces from them both in Bucharest and in Brasov and Timisoara.

We will continue to develop the project in the south of Bucharest, where we have 15,000 square meters under construction and 15,000 in the next phase which will be started in Q1 2022 at the latest,” Loredana Oprisa, Leasing and Development Manager, Olympian Parks Management said during Real Estate Forum 2021 organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.

“We are in the process of authorizing the project in the north of Bucharest, which has been delayed longer than we would have liked, but things do not always happen as we plan. We hope that in Q1 2022 we will start the first phase of 20,000 square meters and expand depending on how the rentals go.

We want to develop further; we will remain on the Romanian market. We are looking at land acquisition in both key and secondary cities. We want to grow a healthy portfolio that will attract the interest of investors.

The subject of land prices is a difficult one for us developers. Prices vary depending on the area and facilities, but the attitude of the owners from whom we are looking to buy some land also matters a lot.

We are optimistic about the future. We have cash and we are active. We have investors who want more projects in Romania with us. A good period is coming for us, we hope to enter other new cities with projects. We hope to have a better collaboration with the local authorities in our future efforts.”
