    Published on

Free Now, European leader in multimodal mobility services, announces that Lennart Zipfel is the new country manager of the company for Romania.

Lennart joined Free Now almost three years ago, in a management position where he was responsible for the Commercial Finance department. His strategic vision and business sense helped him evolve into the Corporate Development area, from where he led the business development operations.

“I spent my whole professional life analysing business development, creating strategies and financial plans for different markets and diverse contexts. Taking this role right after the pandemic crisis will not be an easy task, but I am confident I can secure Free Now Romania’s strong position into the urban mobility sector. Since I joined Free Now, I enjoyed working with capable people, with excellent initiatives, so I have my hopes up regarding this challenge,” said Lennart Zipfel.

“In this challenging economical context, skills like Lennart’s are absolutely necessary for the smooth running of a company. The mobility market in Romania is growing and we are happy to offer a safe and affordable transport solution to all who need it. We are constantly working on improving the service, and with Lennart at the helm, the results will be increasingly felt by users. I am confident that Lennart, with his business and people skills, will grow the local business in the desired direction”, said Marc Berg, CEO Free Now.

Lennart has a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field, from the University of Hamburg, Germany.
