    Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Romania, the youth program of the Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council organizes the conference “Women in Energy: gender diversity in the energy sector”

    Successful business women will discuss gender diversity in the energy sector, on April 27, starting at 10.00, during the second edition of the “Women in Energy” conference organized by Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Romania, the youth program of the Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME).

    This year’s event addresses the issue of gender diversity in the energy sector and brings models of successful women closer to the younger generation of women in energy, thus inspiring and providing guidance to the younger generation. The guests, as speakers, who have already confirmed their presence and who will share their experience are:

    • Anca Dragu, President of the Romanian Senate;

    • Elena Popescu, Director of the Ministry of Energy;

    • Doina Vornicu, COO CEZ Romania;

    • Corina Popescu, CEO of Electrica S.A.

    • Anne-Marie Gestin, Executive Vice President of ENGIE Romania;

    • Livia Stan, Director of Corporate Affairs E.ON Romania;

    • Melania Amuza, Vice President of Electricity, Intelligent Energy Association;

    • Catalina Nedelcu, ASE University Lecturer & Energy MBA Program Coordinator, ASE;

    • Dalia Stoian, Project Manager Solar Decathlon EFdeN, Impact Manager FEL Romania;

    • Cristina Chiriac, President of Conaf Romania.

    The special guest is Mr. Iulian Iancu, President of the Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME). The discussions will be moderated by Ella Ratcu, advisor of CNR – CME and the founder of the Future Energy Leaders Romania program and Adrian Vintilă, Communication & Media Manager FEL Romania.

Therefore, by organizing this event, we aim to support the growing professional community of women in the energy field, to encourage young pupils, students and professionals to develop a career in this field. FEL Romania develops programs that offer networking opportunities, encourages the career development of women who already work in the sector or who want to work in the energy industry “, said Georgian Albu, General Manager of FEL Romania.
