    Saint-Gobain invests 45 million Euro in a new production line in Romania

    Saint-Gobain announces the construction of the second production line of gypsum boards in Turda, Romania. The investment of approximately 45 million Euro aims to increase the production capacity of gypsum boards to meet the growing needs of the Romanian market Romania and in CEE, but also to strengthen the position of the Saint-Gobain Group on light construction markets. The new production line will be operational in April 2023.

    In Romania, Saint-Gobain has approximately 1,800 employees and offers a wide range of solutions and systems, with 22 production lines for gypsum boards, plasters, glass and basalt mineral wool, mortars, construction glass, glazing auto and abrasives in 12 industrial sites.
